By using Trip Cost Tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Planning estimates, not quotes

Calculators and articles provide educational planning estimates. Results are not booking quotes, navigation instructions, tax advice, financial advice, automotive advice, energy advice, legal advice, or a guarantee that a route, park, hotel, charger, road, ferry, activity, or service will be available or priced as estimated.

Your inputs and decisions

You are responsible for entering realistic and current values and for verifying important decisions with the relevant provider. Fuel and charging prices, vehicle efficiency, weather, elevation, traffic, closures, lodging taxes and fees, cancellation terms, tolls, parking, entrance rules, reservations, and local laws can change.

Maps and third-party services

Maps, geocoding, route estimates, official-source links, advertising, and other external resources are provided by third parties. A route result may be incomplete, unavailable, unsafe, unsuitable for the vehicle, or inconsistent with current road conditions. Follow official signs, closures, alerts, and provider instructions.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, bypass security, scrape third-party route or map services at scale, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, or use the tools for unlawful activity. Personal, nonautomated planning use is welcome.

Intellectual property

Trip Cost Tools original text, calculator design, code, and branding are protected by applicable law. Third-party names, data, maps, icons, and services remain the property of their respective owners. Linking to a public page is permitted; copying or republishing substantial original content without permission is not.

Availability and changes

We may change, correct, suspend, or remove features and content without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage of saved plans, or continued availability of third-party services.

Disclaimer and limitation

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. You accept responsibility for booking, driving, charging, payment, tax, safety, and travel decisions. Trip Cost Tools and MicroToolForge are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, unavailable service, changed price, route issue, data error, or third-party action to the extent permitted by applicable law.
